What objects or monuments could we incorporate into our Maui Photo Scavenger Hunt?

My family (11 of us) are traveling to Maui this Christmas. I thought a fun group activity would be to plan a photo scavenger hunt. We would have a bunch of clues that would lead to various locations on the island. Each team would then have to take a picture of that object or monument, or they would take a picture of themselves doing the required task. I have never been to Maui, so I am unfamiliar with all that is around. I need help with what objects or tasks should be photographed. Any ideas?!

The Haleakala observatory is on Maui. You can’t visit it, but you can take a picture of from the crater of the inactive volcano. Here’s a link to some sites that you might want to consider.

It sounds like a fun activity. I hope you enjoy Maui.

The sugar mill in Puunene
The statue of Queen Kaahumanu in Queen Kaahumanu Center
